Calm Down!

From around 5pm tonight Kaden was really hyper, he was running round causing mayhem and havoc! At 6.20pm I had enough so daddy and I took Kaden into the Kitchen and done some painting with Kaden. I cut out shapes in a potato an we done potato prints. This seemed to calm Kaden down and kept him amused for 40 minutes. Daddy took Kaden up for a shower and I made Kaden toast and a drink of milk. Kaden only managed to eat half a slice of toast before falling asleep on the couch!

Easter Nests

As its the Easter weekend I thought that Kaden would like to bake some Easter Nests. We got some chocolate and mini eggs in the other day ready for baking today. I got Kaden to break the chocolate into the bowl and I melted the chocolate on the cooker. While the chocolate was melting Kaden laid out the paper cases. Once the chocolate melted Kaden crushed some shredded wheat into the chocolate and then mixed it in. After that Kaden spooned the mix in the paper cases and topped them off with the eggs. It was two eggs for kaden one for the nests!! I had to take them off Kadenor there was going to be none left! I think Kaden enjoyed making the nests.

Monkey Bizness

Today daddy was off so we all went into town to meet some friends for lunch, we all met around 1.30pm in Nando’s had a look at the menue then ordered. While we were waiting on our meal Kaden and Alexis coloured in some pictures with the colouring books I brought, and with Kaden’s cars. We then all got our food and ate lunch. After lunch Sasha and Alexis had to go but Kaden, Mummy, Daddy,Emma and Shona all went to the new soft play just opened up at fountain park called Monkey Bizness. We all had a great time Kaden started off in the little area but soon got fed up there and ended up in the huge softplay. All the adults took a turn at going in with Kaden. We all had great fun in the soft play it definatly wore Kaden out as we were in the car less than 5 minutes and Kaden had fallen asleep!

Scones

Granny and Grandad are coming over tomorrow to see if they can fix their car,so Kaden and I have been busy today making scones. Kaden first looked at the recipe, then helped me put all the ingredients together mix them up, roll the dough out and cut teddy and star shapes with the cutters! It took us a while but we got there in the end and the scones look lovely! (think we might need to make another batch for tomorrow!)

 

Fruit Addict

Kaden has taken to eating alot of fruit at the moment. We have the fruit bowl on the Kitchen table so lately Kaden has been climbing up onto the chair and going into the fruit bowl and helping himself when he thinks im not looking! Im quite happy that Kaden is eating fruit as its much better than sweets and biscuits plus he still eats his breakfast lunch and tea at night! Today I moved the fruit bowl and noticed a little mouse had been at the apple but changed his mind

Too Sleepy

Tonight when daddy got home I asked daddy to go to the shops and get spaghetti for dinner as we had ran out, so daddy went for some and took Kaden. Kaden never slept today so was really tired and had fallen asleep on the way back from the shops so we let Kaden sleep a little so we could have dinner. I knew Kaden wouldn’t eat a proper meal if we got him up to get him ready for bed so daddy made Kaden tea and toast. Kaden was sitting on the couch when daddy came through with his toast, Kaden took one look at it and said Jam as he was getting a little upset, so daddy had to go put Jam on Kaden’s toast! As Kaden was eating we could see him falling asleep.

Cakes for Grandad

It was Grandad’s Birthday on saturday so we went through to see him. Grandad had to work so while we were there Kaden, mummy, daddy, and Oliver all baked little fairy cakes. kaden and Oiver had fun eating the mix! Kaden helped with the measuring and Oliver helped with the mixing. Kaden put out the paper cases and both Oliver and Kaden put the mixture into them. Daddy put the cakes in the oven!

We would all like to wish Grandad a very Happy Birthday for tomorrow, lots of love, Hugs and Kisses xxx

Music Madness

When Kaden and daddy came to pick me up from hospital tonight Kaden started to get a little fed up waiting for the nurse to give me my discharge note so I let Kaden listen to my i shuffle. He was so cute with the headphones in doing head banging along to the music, kept us all entertained for a while
