A New Nursery

Kaden and I had our last day at LRN on friday as I have decided to work part time to spend more time with Kaden. Kaden will still need to goto nursery for a few hours on a thursday and friday. The nursery Kaden is going to is closer to home so daddy can pick Kaden up on his way home from work. Today Kaden had an hours trial to see how he got on. I droped Kaden off at 9.30 am and went back to pick him up at 10.30am. When I went back KAden was standing at the table playing with some toys.He looked up and came running over with a big smile for a hug. The lady looking after Kaden said he had been fine played in the house corner, with the trains and sang some songs. I think Kaden will be fine at his new nursery! We are back tomorrow for another hour.

Sore Head

On Wednesday Kaden was playing out in the back garden at Nursery. I was weeding with the pre- school children in the front garden. A member of saff came out and said to me Kaden had fallen so as she stayed with the older children I went to see what happened. When I got to Kaden he was in the changing area with another member of staff holding a cold compress to the back of his head. I had a little loo and Kaden had a little cut it wasn’t too bad so luckily we didn’t need a trip to the sick kids but any bigger and it could have been! What happened was Kaden had been playng with a space hopper and bounced off it causing him to fall backwards and bump his head on the wall. I thought Kaden was very brave as he had stopped crying by the time I got there.

Working on Fathers Day

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY DADDY LOTS OF LOVE KADEN xxxxxxxxxxxxx Kaden, Mummy and Daddy would also like to say Happy Father’s Day to Grandad and Grumpy Grandad.

Kaden has been a busy boy making a few things for his Daddy and both his Grandad’s for Fathers day. Kaden made a hand print and footprint in clay and we painted them ready to give to Daddy and both Grandad’s! Kaden also helped me bake little cakes for every one too. Kaden was also busy at nursery making a card and a foot mould for Daddy.

Nursery Fun Day

It was the nursery fun day and what great weather we had for it! Kaden got his face painted and went on the bouncy castle even although he was a little unkeen to begin with! Kaden also liked the cake stall grabbing a cake so we had no option but to buy it! We also guessed the birthday and name the bear which unfortunately Kaden never won! After the fun day we came home and had a barbeque and Kadenwas in his paddling pool for a while!

Face Painting

Today at nursery one of the girls had the face paints out and was paintinglot of different things on the boys and girls faces. When Kaden went out to the garden he went over to see what was going on. It was then Kaden’s turn to get is face done. He got sat on the chair and turned his head to the side so that is cheek could be painted. Kaden sat really well and had a blue balloon painted on his cheek. When he was shown his face in the mirror he had a puzzled look like he was wondering what it was. Kaden kep his balloon on his face for quite a while before it got smuged. I think he can have it done again!

Jo Jingles

On a Thursday at nursery there is a lady that comes from a music group called Jo Jingles. The term started yesterday and runs until June. Kaden really seemed to enjoy his session. The group had a song to say good morning and welcome Jo (the soft toy) to nursery with a hug. Then there was more dancing and nursery Rhymes. Kaden was also handed claves to use which he really enjoyed eaing and banging them together. At the end of the session there is a song to say goodbye and again Jo goes around the group to give a hug!

Fun at Nursery

Kaden has been giving out kisses when you ask him for a while now. At nursery one of the staff asked Kaden for a kiss. He opened his mouth for a kiss and just as she was about to give Kaden his kiss he turned his head away quickly and gave out a laugh! (this is the sense of humor is Grandad and mummy has!)

Kaden was in he Tweenie room sitting infront of a little girl,they were both playing peek-a-boo together with a cloth. The little girl had the cloth over her head and kept pulling it off while Kaden kept trying to hide behind it too! They then both started to give each other kisses.It was so nice to see them playing together.

Too Much Change

Kaden went back to nursery yesterday after spending lots of time at home with daddy and his sore hand. Instead of putting Kaden into the Baby room he had been moved into the Tweenie  room! Not only has Kaden moved rooms, he is now having lunch through with all the 2-3 year olds and pre-schoolers! I think Kaden has grown so quickly over the last month or so that he has lost all his baby features and is now looking like a little boy! when it came to sleep time Kaden was also put fr a sleep on the mat instead of his buggy!

A Visit to the Toddler Room

After Kaden woke from his sleep this afternoon he came into the Toddler Room for a little visit as the baby room was rather busy. When Kaden was in there he picked up a doll and started to give it cuddles! Then one of the older girls sat infront of Kaden with a plastic spoon and bowl and started to scoop out what she had ”made” on the spoon and tried to feed Kaden it. Kaden opened his mouth to take what she had to offer him but after a few spoonfuls turned his head away (I think is because there was no real food on it!) Then they continued with this for a few more minutes! It was really cute to see him interact with the older children!

First Christmas Party

Today was Kaden’s first Christmas Party at the nursery.Just after lunch Kaden was changed into his party out fit and  Granny and Grandad came along around 2pm so that I could help out with the party games, food,Tricky Ricky and then the cleaning. The babies played in the baby room while the party games were going on since it was really busy, then every one went through for their party food. Kaden was sat at a purple table in the chair for the first time and coped really well with it! At one point he had a sandwich in one hand, sausage roll in the other and tried to pick a little sausage up with his mouth!! After that tricky ricky came for the older boys and girls, this was time for Kaden to go to see Santa with Granny and Grandad. All the other babies went through too with their parents or grand parents. Kaden didn’t like Santa this time and started to cry when he had to go and get his present and little bag of art that he has been working on! Then it was time to go home. Granny and Grandad took Kaden to see his great Auntie and Uncle!
